A little about me and why I do what I do.
I didn’t choose fashion. Fashion chose me at seven years old, when I looked my grandfather square in the eye and told him I wanted to dress him. So he let me. And the rest is history.
What started as a childhood obsession became a lifelong calling. Almost a decade ago I opened the doors of Dylan Star Boutique in Santa Barbara, California and built something I am incredibly proud of — a community, a space, and a brand founded on the belief that everyone deserves to feel incredible in what they wear.
Over the years I have had the honor of being recognized as NAWBO Santa Barbara’s Woman Business Owner of the Year and have been featured in publications including Noozhawk, the Montecito Journal, Santa Barbara Business News, The Santa Barbara Independent, and more. But the recognition that has always meant the most to me is watching someone walk out in an outfit standing a little taller than when they walked in. That never gets old. Not once.
Today Dylan Star® looks a little different. The boutique has closed its doors but the heart of what we built is very much alive through Dylan Delivered, one-on-one styling sessions, and event pop-ups around Santa Barbara and beyond. The mission has always been the same: to help people get dressed with confidence, intention, and a whole lot of joy.
That part hasn’t changed and it never will.

Dylan Delivered is my style box delivery service and my favorite way to show up for clients near and far. I personally curate a collection of pieces tailored to your body, your lifestyle, and your style preferences and deliver it straight to your door. Along with your style box you’ll receive a personalized video from me walking you through each piece, how to wear it, and how to style it with things you already own. It’s personal, intentional, and completely about you. Keep and pay for what you love, return the rest for free. No subscription necessary, no pressure.
Starts at a $20 styling fee. Available anywhere in the United States.

My one-on-one styling sessions are for anyone who wants a truly personal, in-person experience. We work together to build outfits around what you already own, identify the gaps in your wardrobe, and shop for new pieces that work seamlessly with your existing closet. I show up entirely for you — as your stylist, your personal shopper, and your biggest style champion. Whether you’re going through a wardrobe refresh, dressing for a new season of life, or simply want a fresh perspective, this is for you.
Available in Santa Barbara and surrounding areas.

If you're hosting a retreat, workshop, corporate event, or special gathering, I'll show up as your event stylist with a carefully curated selection of clothing and accessories to create a shopping and styling experience your guests won't stop talking about.
Prefer something more personal? My private styling parties bring the same great energy to a more intimate setting. It’s the perfect excuse for a girls' night with great pieces and even better company!
